The majority of her students are seated at the top of their section in their school bands.

Jaime continues to pursue academic research, and her article, "Donald E. McGinnis: An American Success Story" was featured in the June 2006 issue of The Clarinet. More recently, her article "Use Your Imagination: Motivate Students With Creativity," was published in the November 2007 issue of Flute Talk, focusing on ideas for motivating elementary-age music students.

An active freelance artist, Jaime performs throughout the Kansas City metro area on flute and piano for a variety of events. She regularly plays in several local churches including Grace United Methodist Church in Olathe, KS as the Saturday evening pianist.

Jaime serves on the board of the Kansas City Flute Association as Newsletter Copy Editor and Board Member. Additionally, she is a member of the National Flute Association, The Central Ohio Flute Association, and the Kansas City Federation of Musicians.
